Groups of Three
On a 7x7 grid, groups of three regions inside three rows or columns appear often. Finding one empties many cells at once, and a quarter-page grid makes such groups easy to see as a whole.
Keeping Notes Small
At this size, use small dots for empty cells and keep the stars clear. If a grid gets crowded, solve it region by region, starting from the ones with the fewest free cells.
For Steady Solvers
These sheets suit solvers who like a series of grids rather than one large one. The 7x7 Star Battle page prints the same size at one grid per sheet.
