Tackling 6x6 Futoshiki Grids
A sign between two cells removes the 1 from its open side and the 6 from its pointed side. When five signs point the same way along one row, its six cells hold 1 to 6 in order and the whole row is solved at once; shorter chains narrow the choice in the same way, a few digits at a time.
Levels on a Sheet of Four
Easy grids start from five given digits and six extra signs on top of the essential clues; medium grids hold three digits at most; hard grids give none, and their signs form the long chains that make a 6x6 futoshiki so satisfying.
Format and Printing
Four 6x6 grids share an A4 sheet in black and white, each with cells wide enough for a digit and two or three candidates. For more room, the 6x6 Futoshiki page prints one grid per sheet.
