Small Factors, Big Products
Each row multiplies the results of the row below, so even factors of 1 to 5 build quickly: the third row reaches the hundreds, and the top brick can pass a thousand. The pages make the growth of products easy to feel.
Up With Multiplication, Down With Division
On the clue pages, five bricks are given on each pyramid. A product with one known factor under it gives the other one by division, and two known neighbors give the brick above them by multiplication.
For Confident Calculators
These are the most demanding pyramids of the category, suited to children who multiply multi-digit numbers on paper and to adults who enjoy a long chain of calculation.
