Products That Grow Fast
The second row is made of times-table facts, but the third row already multiplies two-digit numbers, and the top can reach the thousands. The pages bridge the gap between the tables and written multiplication.
Four Clues to Begin
Without a base, four bricks are printed on each pyramid, never the whole bottom row. Finding a factor below a product calls for division, sometimes of a two- or three-digit number, which makes these pages a strong practice of both operations.
Keeping the Numbers Readable
A base with too many large factors would push the top past four digits, so such a base is drawn again: every brick stays at most 2,000 and fits its space on the page.
