Three Bricks to Start With
A three-row pyramid asks for only three answers: two sums on the middle row and one at the top. That makes it the right size for a first try, and six of them on a page give enough practice for the method to stick.
Small Numbers, Quick Facts
Base numbers stay between 1 and 9, so the middle bricks reach 18 at most and the top 36: addition facts within 20, then one two-digit sum per pyramid.
When Only Clues Are Given
On the second half of the set, three bricks are printed and the other three must be found. A brick above two known ones is their sum; a brick under a known one is that brick minus its neighbor.
