A Practice Set on Every Page
Four squares on one sheet turn a single puzzle into a short exercise: the first square shows the method, the next three make it stick. The page fits a lesson, a homework slot or a quiet moment at home, and a child who reaches the bottom of it has solved four complete squares.
Same Grid, New Totals
On the Lo Shu pages, the four squares all total 15, yet their numbers sit in different places, since the square is turned or flipped. Once the numbers grow, each square on the page has its own total, so the child cannot reuse the one before and must work it out again.
Checking a Finished Page
For each square, add the rows, the columns and the two diagonals: the eight results must match. When one line is off, the faulty number sits in one of its cells, and the lines that cross it show which one.
